Caoba wood

How can you identify real mahogany? Is Cherry the same as mahogany? What is Brazilian mahogany? How big is a mahogany tree? Mahogany is a straight- graine reddish-brown timber of three tropical hardwood species of the genus Swietenia, indigenous to the Americas and part of the pantropical chinaberry family, Meliaceae.
